THE RIPPLE REACHES ADELAIDE

The Indigenous rock art group Ripple Effect Band will play at a world music festival in Adelaide later this month. 

The group from Maningrida in the Northern Territory is the first all-woman rock band to come from Arnhem Land and specialises in merging traditional Indigenous music with modern instruments and styles. 

Band members Jodie Kell and Rona Lawrence spoke to Conrad MacLean about their performance at the upcoming WOMADelaide Festival.
