The thirty-eighth anniversary of Mr. John Pat was marked on Sunday by an event in Fremantle.
In 1983 in Roebourne 16-years old boy John Pat died while in police custody, due to injuries sustained after he was beaten by police who were under the influence of alcohol.
The tragedy has been memorialised in an annual event in remembrance of young John Pat.
