Yesterday, Australia's only remaining state Liberal government and a former federal Liberal MP joined the 'Yes' campaign for the Indigenous Voice To Parliament.

It came on the same day the ‘No’ side launched their advertising campaign.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stood alongside Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff and ex-MP federal Pat Farmer, who’s starting an epic 14,000 kilometer run across Australia in support of the Voice.

“It is time that we did recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our constitution,” Mr Albanese said.

The ‘No’ campaign also released a swathe of new advertising material yesterday.

The groups said they support a legislated Voice but don’t want it enshrined in the constitution and want more of a focus on improving native title laws.
