A new inter-regional flight network connecting towns in Western Australia will be launching in the coming months.

Aviair is launching the new service that is supported by state and local governments.

The air charter company based in Kununurra announced the launch at the Warlu-Way tourism conference in Karratha.

North West Tourism Chair Kym Francesconi said the extra flights will help boost tourism in regional WA.

“I’m very excited that we’re introducing high-capacity aircraft onto this route,” she said.

“So we’re going Geraldton, Karratha, Port Headland, Broome, with 76 seater -8Q400 Aircraft.”
