REGENNARRATION PODCAST HOST AND FAMILY DROP BY NGAARDA MEDIA

Host of the RegenNarration podcast Andrew James dropped by Ngaarda Media this week while travelling to the Kimberley with his family.

Mr James has covered Pilbara issues and people on his podcast before.

One episode highlighted Ngarluma tourism guide Clinton Walker, and another Title Fight author Paul Cleary.

The Title Fight  episode, on the fight between th Yindjibarndi people and FMG, was a popular episode for listeners around the world.

“Really it beggars belief how the community here ultimately won in the high court their case and had to go through the ringer for so long," Mr James said.

Olivia Cheng, Anthony’s partner, is a Yoga Teacher and Shiatsu Therapist.

She discussed the benefits of yoga and her experiences teaching Eastern medicines across the country.

“One of the benefits, I would say it's building the connection between mind and body,” she said.

“For a lot of people, yoga becomes seen as a very physical practice, like a form of exercise. The roots and origins of yoga is more about the mind and energy in the body.

“I guess the strength of Eastern medicine is that it's a very preventative health approach.

“Like yoga, you're looking at the body as a whole system.”

Mr James and Ms Cheng’s son Yeshe James is a nine year old  podcaster and photographer who gave Ngaarda Media an insight into life on the road, homeschooling and meeting unique people.

He says one of the most interesting was a friend named Jeff from down south near Baling.

“he taught me a lot about astronomy and how it's connected with chicken farming on earth and how he's regenerating his little patch of land down south,” said Yeshe.
