STUDENTS FROM MARBLE BAR SHOWCASE VR ARTWORK
Artwork from 15 students has been digitised and converted for virtual reality use, allowing the public to see art in a new perspective.
The 2D artwork has been transformed into a first of its kind 3D Art Virtual Reality Gallery, which will be open online on 21 - 22 June for anyone, anywhere around the world to view.
The VR innovation was first taken up by the school to help reduce school absenteeism and increase classroom engagement but has since opened up new and exciting opportunities for the students and local wider community.
This includes the World Art Gallery, further VR community collaboration projects with Mission Australia and Hedland SHS AND turning 2D objects into 3D with Marble Bar Primary School for Virtual Reality Gaming - a multi-billion global industry!
Marc French from Airbourne IT who is assisting with the VR project told Ngaarda Media, the students are excited about coming to school to work on the revolutionary project.
