ROEBOURNE YOUTH WORKER IS MOVING ON

Yaandina Youth Coordinator, Geroge Devereux is moving to Bunbury after six years of working in Ieramagadu (Roebourne).

Mr Devereux is sad to be leaving and will continue to work with youth in Bunbury.

“A highlight for me would be our trip to Python Pool, I had locals tell me how to introduce yourself at the water hole to ask for safety and blessings and that was awesome,” he said.

Mr Devereux shared language words that he has learned over the years and dedicated the song “One Horse Town” to the community of Roebourne.
