PILBARA GIRL FINALISTS 2021

The 2021 Pilbara Girl heats kicked off on Friday last week and seven First Nation women walked the catwalk with style and grace.

The Pilbara Girl Leadership program is more than fashion and modelling. The one week program highlights body image, public speaking, confidence, choreography and workplace skills.

The finalists, Jada-Lee Lokyer-Papa, Samantha Hawkins, Pansy Derschow and Tori Jacobs will head to Broome for the finale in October.

Tori Jacobs told Ngaarda Media that the program gave her more insight into confidence and self-worth. Ms Jacobs also spoke about the blind-folding activity.

“It would help build like the confidence of needing that support when asking for it. It really helped with accepting that love and guidance.

The finale will be held at Goolarri Media on the 1st of October 2021.
