ABORIGINAL HERITAGE LAWS TO END THIS WEEK
The Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act, which was removed in August will conclude this week.
On Wednesday, a modified version of the 1972 Heritage Act will be implemented, allowing traditional owner groups to challenge work permissions that would cause harm to cultural heritage sites.
