NEW ZEALAND FATHER MAKES DESPERATE PLEA FOR SICK SON
THIS IS A SCAM
A New Zealander working in the Pilbara has made a desperate plea for more assistance for his son who is suffering from a debilitating bone condition.
11-year-old Ashton was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, an ultra-rare bone marrow cancer that has left him in a delicate condition, with only 200 people believed to have been diagnosed with cancer.
His father, Gareth Neho moved from New Zealand to work in mining in Port Hedland to raise an enormous amount of money to fund a new type of treatment that could provide Ashton with potential recovery in America.
“….the treatments using natural fruit and plant extracts and enzymes
where and with who I think of some pig cell. We inject it into the bone itself and it eats away the
cancer or the tumour and then the second part of the process is another injection which helps
rebuild the tissue and all the bone marrow.”
Mr Neho told Ngaarda Breakfast.
The treatment may have a 20%-30 chance of success, but that hasn’t stopped Mr Neho from raising about $118,000 so far but admits says he still needs to raise more funds.
“I think I'm about 35 36,000 short.”
