Rob O’Donnell and Kate Marinko, St John's Volunteers, joined the Breakfast Show at Ngaarda Media.

In 2021, the Mobile skin cancer screening visited the eastern corridor of the City of Karratha and screened 150 people over two days. Kate discussed her involvement with the Skin Cancer screening bus.

“We should do something about those people that can’t get out of town, because we are not all in a position that we can get out of town,” she said.

“We didn't have at that time anyone in the region that could deal with stuff like that.”

This year the skin cancer screening bus will be in Roebourne and Wickham during August and you can book in during the month of July.

With it being Men’s Mental Health Week, St John’s Ambulance is holding “a dinner and catch up at their subcentre,” Rob said.
