JUSTICE FOR SHAUNA LEE ROSE HEADLAND

In Perth, the family of the late Shauna-Lee Rose Headland gathered at Supreme Court Gardens yesterday calling for an end to domestic violence against Aboriginal women.

At the same time Miss Headland’s partner Christopher Dimer, 40, was charged with her murder. 

He was not required to appear in court or enter a plea and was remanded in custody until June 29.

Outside the court, Shauna Lee’s mother Janis Hedland told Ngaarda Media she would be at the court every time he appeared.

The funeral was a Geraldton’s Utikarra Cemetary last Friday.
