GO FUND ME SCAM CONTINUED

A Go Fund Me Page for an 11-year-old boy who was suffering from a debilitating bone condition has turned out to be a scam. 

Ngaarda Media reported this story in 2021 after interviewing FIFO worker, Gareth Neho from Port Hedland.

Mr Neho told Ngaarda Media he found out in January 2022, that his stepson's bone marrow cancer was false and that he will present himself to WA police to answer their questions.

“If that’s what I have to do then that’s what I’m going to do,” he said. “That’s not an issue at all. But I’d like to say that I’m trying to rebuild my life and get some stuff paid back. That’s all I’m trying to do right now.”

Mr Neho says he is homeless.
