First female-led Indigenous funeral company launched in Western Australia

The first Indigenous-led funeral company has been launched in Western Australia by Karriyarra and Noongar woman Sharon Todd.
She started her business with the experience of organising her brother’s funeral in Marble Bar.
Ms. Todd said each mob in Westerns Australia is diverse in the way they do their funerals.
“Just having them back in their own country it’s meaning.. it reconnects all the songlines for that family.
