This week on Deadly Yarns, Cossack Jenny spoke with Sue Hedley, Order of Australia Medal winner, O.A.M. , for her outstanding service to the animal community…. Sue is the Founder of the animal welfare organization S.A.F.E. in Karratha W.A., which saves homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia. Sue shares many of her adventures such as seeing ghosts of Druids whilst in Wales, stalking and meeting Mick Jagger and befriending Jimmy Barnes when he came to Karratha. Sue has turned life’s challenges into personal strength and wisdom. Nothing can deter Sue from her mission to relieve the suffering of animals. Truly a Deadly Australian!
