From renewable energy projects to the Ganalili transitional housing program and Yurra construction, the Yindjibarndi people have a number of streams of work that the mob can pursue and grow together, and the Expo is an opportunity to do exactly that.
The Chief Executive for Yindjibarndi Nation Ltd, Michael Woodley, said an invitation has been extended to several people and organisations, including the Ngarluma Yindjibarndi Foundation, the City of Karratha Mayor, the Local MLA for the Pilbara, Rio Tinto, and Woodside.
“Our Expo, which is to Showcase and promote what the nation is doing at up in that journey for in terms of, you know, in developing the nation industry areas that we see is important to us,”
“We are setting a benchmark, and we are kind of trailblazing to the path forward, and it's fantastic.”
He said he wants all Yindjibarndi members and the neighbouring languages and tribes to join in moving together as one.
