Tootsie Daniel speaks from hosptial

Yindjibarndi elder, Tootsie Daniel has been in hospital on dialysis in Perth.

She said she has been resting and partaking in two of her favorite hobbies, art, and songwriting. The Songs for Peace festival is on in Perth on the 26th of February which she has been participating in from the hospital and says the process is healing for her.

She says she is healing well and working on her strength to be able to get back home.

She would like to return home to Iermagadu (Roebourne), however, there are no dialusis nurses there currently.
