TOOTSIE DANIEL MESSAGE TO THE COMMUNITY

Tootsie Daniel has shared a message with the community to stay healthy, get regular checkups, get tested for COVID-19, ease up on the drugs and alcohol, and, of course, make sure to brush your teeth.

“My message is always being like for my people to be to be healthy and well-being in this Spirit, you know in their body always going to check-ups.”

“…always keep them so clean and you know slow down the gurry and drugs.”

She said her inspirations were the women elders that guided her when she was young and sitting, talking and listening made her who she is today.

Tootsie is still in hospital in Perth but is eager to return to Iermagadu (Roebourne) when she is back to full strength.

She wants to make sure that her community is safe and healthy during this time and make sure that they look after themselves and be conscious of what is going on around them.
