FORMER TOM PRICE YOUTH SET FOR RUGBY LEAGUE GREATNESS

A young man who grew up in Tom Price has made a very quick transition from AFL to Rugby League in the last two years and is now a prospect for the Canberra Raiders.
Kaiaua moved to Perth in January 2020 and has since made two grandfinals with South Perth Giants.

‘Its a different atmosphere in Perth because you’re playing for your club, it represents an area, represents different places, so there’s sort of more on the line,” Kaiaua said.

Kaiaua has made the Under 15s state rugby league team to compete in the Australian Secondary School Boys National Tournament. With the competition starting from the 2nd until the 8th of July.

“By playing as good as I can, hopefully, I can stand out .. training well, so I can play well,” he said.

With nerves and excitement, he said he hopes to achieve a spot with the Canberra Raiders.
