REFERENDUM ROADSHOW ROLLS INTO KARRATHA

The Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) is holding Referendum Roadshow information sessions throughout the Pilbara, to open up discussions on the Voice to Parliament.

YMAC has officially endorsed the ‘Yes’ vote.

Today, the Referendum Roadshow will be in Karratha at the Pegs Creek Pavilion.

There will be two sessions at 10 am and 5.30 pm.

Nyamal man Danny Brown is encouraging the whole community to attend.

“For those people who are undecisive and seeking further information, these sessions are informative sessions,” he said.

“It is an important time for our people, so I encourage not only Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people but the wider public to come and have a listen.”
