PYTHON FOUND ON SHIP DAMPIER PENINSULA

Paul Singline was called out to the King Bay Supply Base to assist with a snake on the Siem Thiima.
Mr. Singline said his friend called him about a three-metre python on a ship that had come from Singapore, “As soon as I got there my suspicions were right, it was a three-metre Reticulated Python.”
He suspected the snake boarded the ship in Singapore, where Reticulated Pythons orginite from and also said the snake was destroyed by biosecurity after he captured it.
“The Reticulated Python is the longest snake in the world if left in the wild and would be able to eat people or cattle at full size”
He said it was a shame to destory such a mejestic animal rathaer than getting in contact with a zoo.
