DEADLY SCIENCE WORKS WITH AUSTRALIA POST

The charity Deadly Science produces books for Aboriginal children

Post shops throughout Australia will be stocking science education books specially written for Aboriginal students.

Deadly Science founder and Gamilerio man Corey Tutt said every time someone goes to Australia Post they can buy one of his books which supports his charity.

“It’s really great because STEM education is just as important as literacy in my opinion,” he said.

Mr Tutt said Australia Post had also agreed to provide sponsorship in the form of free postage to send the books to remote Aboriginal communities.

He said he was pleased with the help he was getting for his charity.

“It’s something I started in my bedroom four and a half years ago sending books and resources off to remote communities to get young mob into STEM,” Mr Tutt said.

“And we’re going to be able to get more resources out there which is important for young ones.”
