LOST BOY FOUND IN KUNUNURRA

Kununurra police have found a missing 14-year-old boy with Down’s syndrome who went missing with a black labrador over the weekend. The missing boy was located in bushland along with his puppy on Sunday.

Kununurra police Senior Sergeant Steve Guerrini said the boy was non-verbal, making it hard to tell how he went missing. 

“He was out walking with his dog and we believe he’s gone out into the bush with the dog, he’s non-verbal so we can’t find out from him what happened, it’s nothing sinister, we think he just got lost in the bush and then he’s seen police looking for him and he’s come out so we found him.”
