KARRATHA MARKETING FIRM WINS COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

An Aboriginal-owned marketing company based in Karratha has won a prestigious award.

Impact Digi won the Rinehart Development of Northern Regional WA Award at the 2023 Western Australian Community Achievement Awards.

The company was established in 2013 and provides marketing services to businesses and government.

Founder and Yawuru woman Tamara BinAmat said the business had doubled its revenue over the past year.

“Our business has grown so much in the last year, and we got really good feedback from the judges,” she said.

“I just couldn’t believe it, on the night in Perth, taking home the award when there were so many amazing nominees in the category.

“Our whole team is really, really proud, and really proud to be from the Pilbara region.”
