FATHER RELEASED FROM DETENTION TO BURY HIS KIDS
The father of two of the children who perished in a Hedland house fire has been released from Immigration detention to arrange their funerals.
Daneyal Jabari thanked all his supporters.
“Thanks to everyone’s who’s helped and been involved in this matter,” he said. “Thanks particularly to the Minister and their staff and the decision makers. They made a lot of effort. Now I’m waiting to be with the kids and do the funeral.”
Mr Jabari told Ngaarda Media he was waiting for the coroner to released the children’s bodies.
Fire fighters and police found a 10-year-old girl and two boys, aged seven and five months, dead inside the burning house last month.
Mr Jabari is the father of the two eldest children.
Their mother Margaret Dale Hawke, 36, has been charged with one count of criminal damage by fire and three counts of murder.
