In Fitzroy Crossing, bottles of rum are changing hands for up to $150 dollars a bottle.

Fitzroy Crossing sergeant Neville Ripp said they had apprehended another vehicle loaded with beer and spirits heading for the central Kimberley town on Tuesday night.

Sgt. Ripp said the townspeople had had enough of sly grogging and fully supported police efforts to stamp it out.
