GURLU GURLU MAYA HOLDS WELCOME BACK LUNCH FOR COMMUNITY

The Gurlu Gurlu Maya Child and Parent Centre in Roebourne held a welcome-back day celebration on Tuesday to start the semester.
Families of the children who attend the center as well as the larger community were invited to a welcome lunch.
Centre Coordinator Aroha Hinaki described the open day as an opportunity for the community to engage with the center.
‘The whole community, whoever wants to join in. More community engagement is what we are trying to engage more. the whole community are invited to this welcome day and hopefully, they can start coming to more programs.’’
