GO FUND ME PAGE FOR FUNERAL AND BABY LLOYD

A Go Fund Me page has been set up by the relative of Diane Miller who died from her injuries after a concrete brick was thrown at the vehicle she was in and hit her head. 

Noongar woman Angela Ryder said she lost her husband earlier this year and wanted to take the financial pressure from her nephew Philip Edmonds who is the partner of Diane Miller who has passed.

“I realised that funerals are so expensive because I lost my husband this year, Ms Ryder said. I know the struggles that I had in covering the cost and I wanted to make sure that the funeral costs were covered for Diane and her unborn baby.

MS Ryder told Ngaarda Media that family, friends and even strangers have been generously giving.

We appreciate the donations that are coming in because there is more than enough to cover the cost of the funeral, but also to put the remaining funds in a trust for baby Lloyd.”

She said that the candlelight vigil that was held this week for Diane Miller and her unborn child was beautiful and that the speeches highlighted the importance of speaking out. 

“Silence is not okay. It should never happen across our mob and no one deserves what happened to Diane Miller. Our love and thoughts are with Diane’s mum, her partner and Lloyd. Silence is never okay.”
