FOURTH DAY FOR LOCKYER SEARCH

In the Pilbara, the search for 29-year-old man Wesley Lockyer is due to reach its fourth day.

Mr Lockyer was last seen at 6am on October 24 as he left Jinparinya Aboriginal Community in Pippingarra Station about 20km east of Hedland.

Police are searching an area of 150 square kilometres in a three kilometre radius from Jinparinya.

A mobile police facility, six police vehicles, 20 local rangers, police drone, police helicopter and the SES are all deployed.

Police have serious welfare concerns for Mr Lockyer who is described as 182cm tall, of solid build, clean shaven with black hair worn in a mullet.

Police urge anyone who sees Mr Lockyer or has information relating to his whereabouts, to call 131 444 immediately.
