DIALYSIS FOR NEWMAN

In WA’s Pilbara region, many of Newman’s older residents will now be able to stay in their own community after Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service opened a new dialysis unit yesterday.

CEO Robby Chibawe said they now had five dialysis machines and already had four patients with a maximum capacity of 32.

He said this meant more people could now return home.
