Another Australian University has thrown its support behind the ‘Yes’ camp in the Voice to Parliament debate.

Charles Darwin University announced on Monday that it will support the ‘Yes’ vote.

Yuin man and Charles Darwin University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor of First Nations Leadership and Engagement Reuben Bolt said a successful Yes vote would give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians greater input into laws that affect them.

“There’s legislation, there’s laws that have discriminated against Aboriginal people, and so I think there’s an opportunity now for Aboriginal people to have a say,” he said.
