Near Exmouth, fires in Cape Range National Park have burned away a lot of the bush exposing a system of caves.

The Blind Gudgeon is a type of fish found only in these caves and Barrow Island.

It is one of a number of strange creatures including blind cave insects, crustaceans and fish that are unique to the National Park.

Parks and Wildlife Exmouth representative Andre Bobojcov spoke to Ngaarda Media’s Geoff Vivian.
