BUSH MEDICINE WORKSHOP AT THE KARIJINI EXPERIENCE
BY ASAD KHAN
The Karijini Experience offers a diverse and inclusive program of authentic and high quality arts and cultural experiences that people across the globe come to attend.
This year at the Karijini Experience there was a bush medicine workshop hosted by Ngarluma/Yindjibarndi woman Cherylea Walker, who also runs her own business selling bush medicine online.
She said she loved the response and interest people had in bush medicine and that natural medicine is all around us if we know how to use it right.
“we had a full-house of very interested people wanting to learn and find out more about what our Pilbara Bush medicine does.
“ Bush medicine has been around for thousands of years and the tradition is still strong , lots of Aboriginal people still practice.” she said.
