BROOME WOMAN VIOLENTLY ATTACKED AT BEACH PARTY

Police are hunting a man who attacked and sexually assaulted a 30 year old woman at a party on Cable beach in Broome over the weekend. 

Detectives say he struck her on the head three times before sexually assaulting her in the early hours of the morning. 

Police say the attacker, who fled the scene on foot, was slim, dark-skinned and 177cm tall. 

The woman was taken to Broome Hospital with serious head injuries.
