ASYLUM SEEKER BOAT ARRIVES NEAR BEAGLE BAY

A boat filled with thirty Pakistani nationals has arrived in a WA remote indigenous community.

Australian Border Force confirmed the operation in the North-West after locals in Beagle Bay came across a group roaming down near the township. Another group was found near the water, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Peter Dutton has criticised the Labor government of losing control of the country’s border.

Pilbara and Kimberley Aboriginal Media reporter, Henry Augustine,  from Beagle Bay said migrants came last night and were found walking on the road from one of the fishing spots.

He said they got picked up and brought into the community for food and water last night.

“They are sitting on the lawn at the store ground today having a picnic.”

Mr Augustine said some people are curious and thinking about if they are okay.
